Amaziah Harlow Jr - Carver

Amaziah Harlow Jr (1747 - 1802) was a Plymouth area carver. He was a contemporary of William Coye and Lemuel Savery. These three carvers at times probably had business relationships. Harlow appears to have been less skilled and less productive than the other two carvers. Nathaniel Holmes learned from Harlow and became a more skilled carver than Harlow. The marker below is one of the very few on Cape Cod that the literature indicates was produced by Harlow. See Lemuel Savery for many more carvings of this type.

Eliakim Higgins (1795) - Orleans Cem.
