This unknown fieldstone was loose on the ground next to a tree near the south border of Cove. In 2008 the fieldstone was set in the ground next to the tree. It is located 30' directly south of the headstone for Thankfull Hedge (d1713) which is at Location 29 on the EHS 1976 survey map. Dimensions of the fieldstone showing above ground are 10" W, 9" H, 8" D. There are no identifying markings on the stone. The stone probably was a grave marker because there are no random fieldstones in Cove.
