This monument is in position JR on the EHS 1776 Cove survey map. A bronze plaque is attached to a large stone which is approximately 36" W, 28"H and 18" D.

Joseph Rogers was baptized in England January 23, 1602/3 and he died in Eastham in January 1677/8. He was the son of Mayflower passenger Thomas Rogers.
