This is the most ornate gravestone in Bridge Road Cemetery. Dorcas Shaw was the first wife of Rev. Philander Shaw. See Philander Shaw (d 1800), son of Rev. Shaw and his second wife Lucy, for a similar carved image. The gravestone for Dorcas Shaw was carved by Bildad Washburn of Kingston according to gravestone researcher James Blachowicz. The top right photo shows the headstone with the footstone in the background.
