Beneath this stone
lies Interred the Remains of
Mrs HANNAH DOANE the virtuous
consort of ELISHA DOANE Esq'r
who bid adieu to this transitory
state February 25th 1786
in the 95th Year of her Age

Thro a long life she exhibited
the most exemplary piety and
her reward is with the Most High

Heaven saw goodness, charity and love
Her prayers were heard thro all the realms above
