The wide view on the right shows three fieldstones flush to the ground lined up with the plaque. This suggests the fieldstones might be the original grave markers from the 1600's but this interpretation is open to question.

It has been reported that Peter Worden died March 9, 1639. It has been reported that Mary Worden died March 26, 1686 at about age 76.
