The two Doane homesite markers are located about two miles north of Cove Burying Ground just off the bike path which runs from the Cape Cod National Seashore Center to Coast Guard Beach. The next photo taken many years ago looks east to show the Coast Guard Station and Atlantic Ocean in the background.

The last photo shows Doane Rock (aka Enos Rock) which is a few hundred yards from the Doane homesite location. This large rock was deposited by the glaciers over 12000 years ago. It is the largest glacial rock on Cape Cod. The rock is 45' long and 18' high with about 12' underground.
